Nandita Gurjar
Group Head of Education Training and Assessment
Member, Executive Council
Nandita
Gurjar is currently a Member of the Executive Council and Group Head of
Education Training and Assessment (formerly E&R). In her current role,
which she took over in April 2013, she holds the mandate to build the internal
capabilities for current and emerging technology, domain and workforce
landscape of Infosys. In addition, she is responsible for establishing learning
as a competitive advantage for the enterprise.
Prior
to this, Nandita was Group Head of Human Resources since 2007, where she
focused on making Infosys the preferred choice of global talent. In this role,
she led the Infosys HR strategy and its global footprint for over 150,000
employees. She was appointed Member of the Infosys Executive Council in 2011
and helps drive the strategic imperative of the Infosys vision of Building
Tomorrow's Enterprise.
Nandita
was awarded the Human Capital Business Leader of the Year Award by the
Singapore Society of Human Resource Management. The HR practices she instituted
have been recognized by international forums such as American Society for
Training & Development (ASTD) and Workforce Optima.
Nandita
is a member of the World Economic Forum – Global Advisory Council on New Models
of Leadership. She has also been featured among the Most Powerful Women in
India by the Business Today magazine. Nandita is often invited to speak on HR
strategy, workforce management, and business leadership. She has addressed
several prestigious forums such as Great Place to Work, Conference Board, and
the World Bank.
Nandita
holds a bachelor’s degree in literature from Nizam College, Hyderabad, India,
and has a master's in psychology from Osmania University, India.
